In Lidzbark Warmiński stands Lidzbark Warmiński Castle, a 14th-century castle. The building is considered one of Poland’s most valuable Gothic monuments and has held the status of a Monument of History since 2018. Today, the Warmian Museum in Lidzbark Warmiński is located in the castle.

The castle chapel is located on the first floor of the eastern section of the south wing; its interior is designed in the Rococo style.
