Öjersjö is part of the municipality of Partille in Västra Götaland. There are several distinct destinations to choose from for a stay: Kåsjöbadet for a day of swimming, activities around Hålsjön and trails through the surrounding area. If you are looking for a hotel, holiday home or holiday apartment, compare the exact address with your preferred starting point. The destinations listed are not all by the same lake; choosing your excursion destination carefully makes it easier to find suitable accommodation.

A day of swimming at Kåsjön

Kåsjöbadet is on Kåsjövägen in Öjersjö. It has several jetties, diving towers and toilets. This is a specifically named swimming area, not a guarantee that every accommodation is by the water or offers these facilities itself. Bus routes 512 and 516 run from Partille centrum to the Kåsjön stop, right next to Kåsjöbadet. This describes public transport access to the swimming area; you will still need to plan your journey from any particular hotel based on its address.

On the circular trail around the small and large Kåsjön, there is a shelter on the west side of the smaller lake. There are tables and benches at several locations. This means you can combine a day of swimming with a walk by the water, without implying a specific loop length or difficulty level. Before your visit, check which sections and facilities are suitable for your plans. A lake in Öjersjö is also not a Baltic Sea beach.

Activities between Hålsjön and Gamla vägen

Hålsjögymmet is located outside Öjersjökyrkan, between the small and large Hålsjön. It has eight exercise stations, mostly made of wood, and is open to everyone, not just church members. There is also a six-basket disc golf course in the woods near the church, close to Lilla Hålsjön. The church and its grounds are therefore a different activity hub from Kåsjöbadet. Take care not to confuse the two lake areas when choosing your starting point.

An activity park with climbing facilities, an obstacle course and a multisport area is located on Gamla vägen, next to the Hallen preschool. The older farmsteads of Öjersjö Hallen along the same road are considered a valuable cultural landscape. So a modern activity spot and traces of the area’s history are located along the same named road, but the farmsteads themselves are not described as a freely accessible attraction. The grounds of Öjersjökyrkan also include a croft dating from 1850.

In Hultet Södra, the municipality has created footpaths and cycle paths, lighting and green spaces. A footpath and cycle path also runs along Nya Öjersjövägen from the roundabout at Hålsjövägen to the roundabout at Björkdals väg; it was completed in summer 2025. This information can help you find your way around the area, but it does not describe the distance between your hotel and the swimming area.

Woodland and other trails

Bråtaskogen serves Öjersjö as a local recreation area for walks and mushroom-picking trips. In southern Partille, east of Landvettervägen, lies the wetland and bog area of Maderna-Haketjärn; Vildmarksleden and Bohusleden pass through this area. These areas cover a different geographic scale from a walk right by Kåsjön. If you are planning a longer hike, choose your specific starting point and travel arrangements separately.

Choose accommodation to suit your plans

There are different possible starting points for swimming at Kåsjöbadet, activities at Öjersjökyrkan and trails in Bråtaskogen. So compare the exact location and services offered rather than judging accommodation by the area name alone. You can find out prices and availability from the specific hotel or holiday rental; the jetties, trails and exercise stations described are part of their respective public locations.
