Rabenkirchen-Faulück: Hotels and Accommodation

Directly on the Schlei at Karschau 10 stands the protected Karschau three-sided farmstead in Rabenkirchen-Faulück. The complex was built in the last quarter of the 19th century; the house dates from around 1880. The farmstead illustrates rural residential culture from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Culture and History

St. Mary's Church in Rabenkirchen comprises a Romanesque fieldstone structure dating from the late 12th century. Its furnishings include an organ built in 1697, probably by Matthias Hansen, and a pulpit carved by Berend Cornellissen in Husum in 1637.

The ground floor of the tower room contains paintings from the first third of the 17th century: large apostles in richly decorated late Renaissance frames. The tower paintings are a very rare testimony to the heyday of art in the Schleswig region at the beginning of the 17th century.

Golf

The Stenerberg Golf Course in Rabenkirchen-Faulück is a 9-hole course designed as a par-70 course. From the yellow men's tees, it measures 5,174 metres. The facility includes a partially covered driving range, putting and chipping greens, and a 6-hole short course. Guests do not need to reserve a tee time; green fees are available for guests.

The Rabenkirchen-Faulück bathing area is located on the Schlei and is used for swimming. It has a slipway and is suitable for launching a stand-up paddleboard. A kiosk and a restaurant are located at the campsite opposite. The bathing area is not supervised by the DLRG.
