Pönitz am See: Hotels and Accommodations

The Pönitz lake district comprises Lake Kleiner Pönitzer See, Lake Großer Pönitzer See, and Lake Taschensee. The three lakes are situated in a natural inland setting and offer opportunities for cycling, swimming, fishing, and walking excursions.

History

A large glacial erratic bearing the inscription “Pence – Pönitz 1221 – 2021” was erected in Pönitz am See. It commemorates the history of the place.
