Wejherowo is located 36 kilometers northwest of Gdańsk and is the administrative seat and largest city of Wejherowo County. The climate is influenced by the Baltic Sea and is maritime.

City and Culture

Wejherowo has a documented history as a strong center of Polish culture. Wejherowo, Rumia, and Reda are interconnected cities and are referred to as the Kashubian Tricity in relation to the larger Tricity area centered around Gdańsk.

The Aleksander Majkowski Municipal Park is a city park in Wejherowo; part of the park is located near a water intake point on the Cedron stream. Running routes lead through the Municipal Park, along the Reda River, through the Puszcza Darżlubska forest, and around Lake Białe.
