Sychowo: Hotels and accommodations

Sychowo is a Kashubian village in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, in Wejherowo County and the municipality of Luzino. Archaeological evidence shows that the area was settled during the Iron Age and the period of Roman influence. Finds from excavations carried out in 1973 are kept at the Archaeological Museum in Gdańsk.

Village landscape and church

In historic Sychowo, a manor house, a stable, and farm buildings from the late 19th century have been preserved; they were built from fieldstone. The former manor house is used as a school and library; the former stable was adapted for the parish of Saint Joseph the Bridegroom.

A chapel was established in part of Sychowo’s farm buildings in 2002. There is also a Roman Catholic church in the village dedicated to Saint Joseph, the Bridegroom of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
