Salino is a lakeside locality in Kashubia, situated on Lake Salino. Lake Salińskie, also known as Lake Salino, is a ribbon lake in the Żarnowiecka Upland; Salino is one of its lakeside settlements.

Landscape

Salino lies within the Choczewsko-Saliński Protected Landscape Area. Salino is also included in the list of localities along a 11.64 km green-marked cycling route.

Culture

Salino has a historic manor house described as approximately 300 years old, as well as a nearly 200-year-old Neo-Romanesque parish church. Salino’s historical heritage includes the former Protestant church, which is now a Roman Catholic filial church dedicated to Saint Joseph and dates from 1832–1839. Other features include historic cemeteries and the 1890 burial chapel of the Rexin family.
