Sianowska Huta has a documented Kashubian historical character. Its origins are traced back to a forest clearing in the 17th century. Possible early small-scale commercial activities included glassmaking, the smelting of bog iron ore, or the production of potash.

Dense beech forests are associated with Sianowska Huta; historically, they supported settlement and agriculture there.

Culture

A roadside Marian shrine in Sianowska Huta bears the designation “Kapliczka słupowa N.M.P.” Its construction is dated to 1990.
