Chmielno is considered a picturesque Kashubian village in an area characterised by lakes, forests and pastures. At the same time, the village preserves a long-standing ceramics tradition.

Culture

The Necel Ceramics Museum is located in Chmielno, where Kashubian ceramics are made using traditional methods. The Necel family's Kashubian pottery and ceramics tradition in Chmielno dates back almost 120 years.

Decorative items are made in the Necel pottery workshop, including cups, mugs, bowls, plates, kettles, pots and clocks.

Landscape

Wieżyca is located in the area around Chmielno. It stands at an elevation of 329 m and is also known as Szwajcaria Kaszubska. Biskupia Gora and Chochowatka are also located in the immediate vicinity of Chmielno.
