Łupawsko is located on the western shore of Lake Jasień, in the Bytów Lake District and within the Słupia Valley Landscape Park. The village borders the lake directly and is surrounded by mixed forests.

Water and Nature

Lake Jasień is associated with fishing, kayaking, boating, and stand-up paddleboarding in Łupawsko. The lake has seven islands, a water equipment rental service, and several bathing areas; two of these bathing areas are located in Łupawsko.

Lake Jasień is considered a breeding ground for swans, cormorants, herons, and other rare waterfowl.

The mixed-forest surroundings are considered suitable for walks and cycling tours. The terrain is flat, broad roads and paths lead through the surrounding area, and trails extend for several kilometers. In addition, a marked red cycling route with a length of 25.35 km lists Łupawsko as one of its villages.

The area surrounding Łupawsko includes Bytów - Gothic Teutonic castle from the 14th and 15th centuries. The wider regional surroundings include Siemierzycka Góra, Przyjemska Gora, the hill above Tuchlinek, and the hill above Szklana.
