Making paper, type and art
The “Paper and Printing” association makes handmade plant-fibre, laid and recycled papers at the Wrangelsburg paper mill. In the integrated workshop, traditional wooden and metal type is made and paper is printed. Making and printing go hand in hand here: alongside the paper itself, working with type is also part of the craft.

Manor house, Schlosssee and woodland paths
The present-day manor house in Wrangelsburg was built around 1880 and is privately owned. The landscape park covers approximately three hectares along the southern shore of Schlosssee. The approximate area and lakeside location describe the park; they do not indicate the size of the entire town.
Hiking trails lead from the manor house and landscape park into the forest. Wrangelsburg therefore offers two distinct themes: work at the paper mill and trails through the surrounding landscape. In Peenemünde, the Juliett U-461 is a museum ship in the harbour that visitors can explore on a tour.
