Ramin: Hotels and Accommodations

Ramin is located between the Randowbruch and the Polish border in a glacial ground moraine landscape with numerous areas that were formerly marshy. The municipality lies in Vorpommern-Greifswald in southeastern Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and belongs to the Löcknitz-Penkun administrative district.

Landscape

The small lakes Krebssee and Rötsee belong to Ramin. The former Holzsee is now largely silted up and can mainly be recognized by its reed growth.

The islands of Wyspa Zielona, Grodzka Kępa, and Wyspa Gryfia are located in the wider regional surroundings. The Galgenberg is also located in the surrounding area.

Culture and History

The wider regional surroundings of Ramin include Bröllin Castle, Szczecin - Zamek XIVw., Burgwall, and Schlossberg.

Lebehn is associated with archaeological finds from the Slavic period and several later historical eras around Lake Lebehn. The historic estate complex in Lebehn includes a listed fieldstone stable, a granary, adjoining stable buildings, an old manor house, and a neighboring barn.

It also includes a small abandoned cemetery, a mausoleum ruin, and a wooden bell tower associated with the former Gamp estate family.
