Nadrensee: Hotels and Accommodations

Nadrensee lies between three lakes on an upland between the Oder and Randow rivers in southeastern Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The municipality belongs to Vorpommern-Greifswald and is located in northeastern Germany. To the east, Nadrensee borders Poland, and to the south, Brandenburg; the easternmost point of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is located on its eastern edge.

History and Culture

Nadrensee was first mentioned in a document in 1257. The name derives from the Low German phrase “na dreen Seen,” meaning “by three lakes.” Some historic estates were associated with Walkenriede Cistercian Monastery in Damitzow before the monks later sold them to a convent in Stettin.
