Tutow: Hotels and Accommodation

Tutow is located about eight kilometres west of Jarmen and about 16 kilometres east of Demmin, in the Pomeranian part of the region. Federal highway B110 runs along the southeastern municipal boundary; the town can be reached via the Jarmen interchange on the A20.

Landscape

The Kuckucksgraben stream runs along the municipal boundary towards the Peene. The small municipal area also includes the artificially created Casinosee lake and scattered small woodland areas.

In the vicinity of Tutow are Danzelberg and Galgenberg. Treppenberg is located in the surrounding area.

Culture and Surroundings

In the vicinity of Tutow is Bentzin with its village church. Schlossberg, the Trabbi-Scheune, Quilow Moated Castle and Grimmen Zoo are located in the wider regional surroundings.

The former Kruckow estate of Wittenwerder was demolished in 1933 during the construction of Tutow airfield. From 1 October 1938, the settlement officially bore the name Tutow/Flughafen.
