History

Grambin is still home to thatched half-timbered houses that are more than 200 years old. Small shipyards developed along the Szczecin Lagoon coast from the 18th century onward; Grambin also had its own shipyard until the late 19th century. A postal road between Anklam and Szczecin was established in 1777 and ran through the municipality.
