In Stuthof, the 10.9-kilometer-long, accessible Thalasso Health Trail 5 runs as a circular route through the surrounding area. The route is suitable for cycling, signposted, connected to public transport, and offers an opportunity to stop for refreshments. Via the Stuthof Forest Passage, the trail leads into the Rostock Heath and continues in the direction of Schnatermann.

Nature and trails

The Schnatermann nature reserve is located nearby. Protected and endangered species can be found there, including the black woodpecker, Eurasian hobby, and lily of the valley. The area also offers views toward the mouth of the Warnow, known locally as the Breitling.
