Güstrow can be reached from Mühl Rosin via a 5-kilometer-long cycle path along Lake Insel. The Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Wildlife Park is also located near Mühl Rosin.

Mühl Rosin includes Hereditary Lease Farm No. 3 at Honigberg; Kirch Rosin has a manor house designated Hereditary Lease Farm No. 1. The first documentation of Mühl Rosin dates back to 1226.
