Sarnow is located on the Peene-South Canal and on federal highway 197. Anklam is approximately 13 km to the north; the A20 can be reached via the Neubrandenburg-North and Friedland/Golm interchanges. Sarnow is a municipality in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
