The Church of St. Christopher Nearby

The Church of St. Christopher in Kröslin is located near Rubenow. It was built in the late 13th or early 14th century as a rib-vaulted hall church. A large 14th-century baptismal font and a knotted altar carpet add two distinctive details to the architecture. The carpet was made in the fishing village of Freest in 1948. The church thus combines medieval architectural and furnishing features with a precisely dated post-war work.
