There is a natural beach in the district of Ludwigsburg. The Loissin surf spot is right on the Greifswald Bodden. Both are points of interest for a trip where the water plays an important role, but they represent different holiday themes: the natural beach focuses on spending time at the beach, while the surf spot is geared towards water sports. Ludwigsburg Castle and Its Architectural History
The castle is part of the estate in Ludwigsburg. The estate includes a three-storey, plastered Renaissance building laid out in the shape of a Latin cross. The remains of a late Baroque garden can be seen south of the castle. Exhibition on Burial Chapels and Mausoleums

An exhibition designed as a summer-long permanent display opened there on 7 September 2018. Its subject is the 42 burial chapels and mausoleums still standing in Western Pomerania. The exhibition therefore looks beyond individual buildings in Ludwigsburg to a regional form of funerary culture. The castle, chapel and mausoleum offer different ways to explore history: representative architecture, a religious building, and the commemorative culture of burial chapels and mausoleums.
Getting Around by Bike and on Foot
Tourism information boards with maps of the surrounding area have been installed in each of Loissin’s three districts, making three boards in total. They help visitors find their way while cycling and walking along the Bodden coast.
