Geographical Location
Welzin is one of the districts of Damshagen. The municipality provides information about bus connections to Grevesmühlen and Klütz-Boltenhagen.
Culture and History
St. Thomas Church stands in Damshagen. It is a Gothic brick village church with a baptismal font made of Gotland limestone from the early period of the church and a preserved bronze bell dating from 1469.
From Easter until 31 October, St. Thomas Church is open daily for visits, quiet contemplation, and prayer.
