Robertsdorf is one of the districts of the Evangelical Lutheran parish of Dreveskirchen in the Nordwestmecklenburg district. An important cultural connection is therefore the church in Dreveskirchen: it is located in the municipality of Blowatz and has a Baroque organ built in 1754 by Rostock organ builder Paul Schmidt.

The Traditional Goat Festival

The traditional Goat Festival takes place in Robertsdorf every two years. The 16th Goat Festival on 14 September 2024 also marked Robertsdorf’s 775th anniversary. The traditional Goat Festival procession passed through Robertsdorf, from the old petrol station at the entrance to the village along the main road to the festival grounds at the other end of the village. At the Goat Festival, the people of Robertsdorf once again performed a theatre play in Low German. The 2024 Goat Festival also featured a coffee table, game and grilled bratwurst. Anyone interested in the Low German language, community life and regional festival traditions will find several different facets within the same event.

Cycling Tour and Farm

Active days also have a specific point of reference in Robertsdorf. The approximately 70 km-long “Mill Tour” cycling route passes through Robertsdorf.
