Blumenholz is located in the landscape area of the Tollensesee Basin and the chain of lakes consisting of Lake Müritz, Lake Mittelsee, Lake Langer See, and Lake Krebssee. The landscape includes meadows, fields, and forests.

Landscape

Kronsberg, Langer Berg, and Rabenberg are located in the vicinity of Blumenholz. The wider regional surroundings also include Kaninchen Werder.

Culture and History

Near Lake Mittelsee, the foundation remains of an old castle can be found on Schloßberg. Next to them stands the half-timbered Hilhaus summer hunting lodge from 1938. A large erratic boulder near Schloßberg measures 4.5 meters in diameter and is 2 meters high; it was saved from being crushed for road construction.

The abandoned village of Kastaven and Wildberg are located in the wider regional surroundings of Blumenholz. The Cultural and Historical Monument Ruined Monastery Church and the Cultural Park are also located there.

The Hellberge are located in a landscape conservation area, reach 91.7 meters above sea level, and offer panoramic views.
