Visitors can trace the history from the medieval font through the church building to the 19th-century organ and its restoration.
An estate dating from the 19th century is also a defining feature of Kirch Kogel. It includes, among other buildings, a manor house and farm buildings with a stable and granary. This complements the church’s architectural and furnishing details with a different historic ensemble: an estate with named residential and agricultural buildings. The granary in Kirch Kogel is now a cultural centre for the municipality. Regular activities include sports, readings, talks, cinema, a May festival and a hobby market. The Old Forge and burial mounds in Groß Tessin
In Groß Tessin, the Old Forge is one of the municipality’s attractions. Two burial mounds lie about 700 metres east of the village and are clearly visible from the road between Groß Tessin and Reimershagen. Their location and visibility from the road provide clear points of reference for travellers interested in archaeological landmarks. Groß Tessin also has a small shop with a snack counter.
