The two activities offer different ways to experience the spa forest: the trail focuses on stations and exercises, while the sound forest invites you to explore sounds made with natural materials.
The discovery trail runs along the paved promenade. Oversized models of Baltic Sea animals and plants show which species are featured, while illustrated information boards explain their ways of life and distinctive features. This lets you combine a walk with information about Baltic Sea nature. If you are particularly interested in animals and plants, you can consider this trail as a standalone activity.
Local history and culture
The Graal-Müritz local history museum presents the history and culture of the town. Topics range from its founding and residents’ living and working conditions to the development of the spa business. Storm surges and their consequences are also covered: Graal-Müritz lost three piers as a result. A visit to the museum therefore offers insight into both the town’s development and the changes that storm surges brought to it.
