In the area around Rödeby, the Blekingeleden trail leads from Mörtsjöåsen to Älmtasjön through a hilly landscape with classic mixed woodland, passing several larger lakes and smaller streams. There are two ski lifts at the facility. The cross-country ski trails at Dackestugan and the associated snowmaking facility are known as Rödeby Vintersportcentrum. In the lower area of the ski slope, there is also Klubbstuga, which has a food service establishment that is open on Saturdays and Sundays.

The present Rödeby Church was built between 1875 and 1877 in the Neo-Gothic style. An older church previously stood at the current site; it was built sometime in the 11th or 12th century. Inside is a carved oak altarpiece made by the sculptor Åke Truedsson from Karlshamn in 1673. The church is open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for prayer, lighting candles and quiet reflection.
