Jezioro Myśliborskie is ideal for recreation and water sports. In Myślibórz, there are two bathing areas on this lake monitored by WOPR lifeguards: at ul. Szarych Szeregów and os. XX-lecia PRL. These details provide practical guidance for a stay by the water.
Kayak trips can be arranged at the marina in Myślibórz, both on Jezioro Myśliborskie and on the Myślą River. Marina Szkuner also offers the opportunity to rent sailing boats and rowboats. This makes it easy to include different water activities in your travel plans. If you prefer swimming, Pływalnia Kryta in Myślibórz has five lanes, each 25 m long.
Townscape and History
The old town of Myślibórz retains its medieval street plan. Nowogródzka Gate, preserved in the town walls, is a visible reminder of the town’s fortifications. The Kolegiata Świętego Jana Chrzciciela stands beside the market square. The late Baroque town hall displays architectural features of the Rococo and early Neoclassical styles. The historic Dutch windmill at ul. Szkolna 8 is another of the town’s landmarks.

Religious history is also part of the townscape: the Myśliborskie Sanktuarium Miłosierdzia Bożego and the Dom Macierzysty Zgromadzenia Sióstr Jezusa Miłosiernego are located in Myślibórz. The town’s modern history is associated with Saint Faustina Kowalska and Blessed Michał Sopoćko.
Cycling Route and Annual Events
For active days, the 60 km Myślibórz–Barlinek–Choszczno cycling stage is a good option. It is fully completed and runs mostly along paved cycle paths built on a former railway line. The Pojezierzy Zachodnich route also passes through the municipality of Myślibórz. These routes offer different ways to explore the surrounding area by bike.
Every year around the turn of May and June, the Muzeum Pojezierza Myśliborskiego hosts the Jarmark Klasztorny, an open-air festival with a historical and cultural focus. In September, the Spotkania Młodych Autorów i Kompozytorów Piosenki “SMAK” im. Jonasza Kofty are held each year. Young singers, writers, composers and performers take part; renowned composers and artists lead workshops for participants. The Dni Myśliborza is a recurring open-air event for residents of the town and surrounding area, as well as for tourists.
