Swinemünde: Hotels and accommodations

Świnoujście is a Baltic Sea town on the Świna River. The town extends across the large islands of Usedom, Wolin, and Karsibór, as well as numerous smaller islands and islets. At the same time, it is a spa resort with spa facilities, a spa park, and access to the Baltic Sea beach. Świnoujście also has a wide Baltic Sea beach and surrounding coastal landscape.

Nature

There are opportunities for walks and hikes in the vicinity of the spa area. Warszòw plaża and Mielin are located near Świnoujście. In the surrounding area are Heringsdorf Dog Beach and Plaża Międzyzdroje; the Usedom Island bison enclosure is also nearby.

History

Świnoujście developed as a Prussian port town in the 18th century and became Polish in 1945. In the wider regional area are Mellenthin Water Castle and Stolpe Castle.

Mobility

The cross-border promenade between Świnoujście and Heringsdorf is intended for walking and cycling and is almost four kilometers long. Ferry services to Ystad and Trelleborg operate from the Warszów district of Świnoujście.
