Wejsuny: Hotels and Accommodation

Lake Wejsunek is a small lake in the Masurian Landscape Park with numerous fishing piers and fishing spots.

Nature and Surroundings

Lake Jegocin is located nearby in the Pisz Forest within the Masurian Landscape Park; the lake is designated as a quiet zone. The area around Wejsuny also includes Kadzidłowo and Szeroki Ostrów.

Culture and History

The Wejsuny Regional Chamber is housed in a Masurian farmhouse and displays everyday objects used in the past. The village is also home to a neo-Gothic Protestant church built in 1908.

A historic Protestant cemetery on Lake Wejsunek includes a section serving as a First World War war cemetery. Restoration was carried out in 2008 with the support of the Institute of National Remembrance.

Paths Through the Landscape

The 24 km Szeroki Bór loop passes through Wejsuny and by the Regional Chamber before continuing to the Guzianka Lock. A green hiking trail also follows the route Ruciane-Nida – Bełdany – Piaski – Wejsuny – Ruciane-Nida.
