Kretowiny: Hotels and Accommodations

Kretowiny is considered a resort center in the West Masuria tourist region and is located on a peninsula in Lake Narie. The lake is considered clear, has several islands, and features a quiet zone where motorboat engines are prohibited. A red, 37.2-kilometer-long cycling route runs as a loop around the lake; from Kretowiny, a 30-kilometer variant can be ridden without passing through Morąg.

Nature and Trails

The main beach area includes a pier, water equipment rental, attractions for children, and a playground. A hiking route around the Kretowiny Peninsula is approximately six kilometers long and is not officially marked.

Points of interest along a cycling route in the nearby area include a church in Boguchwały and an abandoned palace in Ponary.

In the wider regional surroundings of Kretowiny are Ostróda - Zamek Krzyżacki XIVw. and the Bazylika Kolegiacka. The “Rural House / Former play-house” is also located there.
