Remembrance
South of Zajdy, in a forest next to the unpaved Gąski–Zajdy road, there is a protected cemetery from the First World War. It can be reached via this unpaved road. The cemetery commemorates 47 Russian soldiers, 114 German soldiers and one civilian war casualty.
History
Zajdy was founded before 1557 on 60 włóka; a further six włóka were assigned to the village head. The settlement was also known by the name Sołtmany.
