Oleśno: Hotels and Accommodation

Oleśno is recorded as a settlement dating from pre-Teutonic times. In 1353, the town was granted a charter; in 1414, Oleśno received a new charter under Kulm law.

History and Townscape

Of the three arcaded houses from the 18th century, one has survived in Oleśno: house no. 27/29.

The historic village structure was laid out as an oval settlement with a square and a pond at its centre, aligned diagonally from northwest to southeast. The construction of railway tracks in the mid-19th century changed the village's cultural landscape.

Stodolarnia is regarded as a place in Oleśno that was created through the adaptive reuse of an old building and with the participation of residents from the surrounding area.

Geographical Location

Kamienna Góra is located in the area surrounding Oleśno. In the wider regional area are Malbork – Zamek Krzyżacki XIII–XV w., Malbork – Strusi ogród, the Kościół Najświętszego Serca Pana Jezusa, St. Nicholas Church in Lisewo, Góra Maślana and Wzgorze nad Rumunkami.
