Exercise and Sports in the Town
North of Valla is a 2.5-kilometre illuminated exercise trail. In the southern part of town is the outdoor gym, next to Valla idrottsplats and right beside the school. The two places for exercise differ in their location and features: the trail’s length and lighting are specified, while the sports ground and school help identify the gym’s location. For planning purposes, you can thus compare a trail in the north with a fitness facility in the south.
Valla idrottsplats has two full-size football pitches with grass surfaces, as well as athletics tracks. Valla kyrka and the parish hall are in the town centre. Thus, the playgrounds are located on two different streets, while the church and parish hall together form a central point of reference.
Go-Karting at Valla Raceway
People of different ages can go go-karting at Valla Raceway. This is a separate activity from the sports and playgrounds: at the Raceway, driving is the main attraction, while at the other places mentioned, sports facilities or play equipment make up the specific amenities.
