Geographical Location
Borzechowo is a village in the Kociewie region of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is located in Starogard County and in the municipality of Zblewo. Borzechowo is also situated on Voivodeship Road 214.
Culture and History
In the vicinity of Borzechowo are Ratusz, Adam Mickiewicz, Kościół św. Mateusza and Kościół św. Katarzyny. Działki (allotment gardens) and Park Miejski are also located nearby.
Borzechowo has a parish church dedicated to Saint Anne; in Radziejewo there is a filial church dedicated to Divine Mercy.
Borzechowo has been documented since 1541. In 1553, its estates were granted by King Sigismund II Augustus to Fabian Wojanowski. In 1581, Borzechowo became the seat of an independent starosty not attached to a castle.
