Wierzchucino is located next to the Bychowska Struga stream on the northwestern edge of Lake Żarnowieckie. The settlement lies on Voivodeship Road 213; Wierzchucino’s built-up area is 3 km from the Baltic Sea.

Nature and Coastal Surroundings

The area surrounding Wierzchucino includes Plaża Białogóra, Plaża Dębki, Plaża Lubiatowo and Plaża Kopalino. In the vicinity of Młyńska Street, a road bridge crosses the Bychowska Struga stream.

Culture and History

Wierzchucino’s 19th-century religious heritage includes a brick Neo-Gothic church built in 1882. After restoration work, it was reconsecrated on 10 September 1961; historic furnishings from the decommissioned church in Janowice were transferred there. Part of the historic cemetery associated with the church has been preserved.

A two-storey chapel dedicated to Saint Rosalia stands on Świętej Rozalii Street. A former mill and wooden German customs buildings are also historically associated with Wierzchucino. Krokowo - Zamek is located in the area surrounding Wierzchucino.

Cycle Route

Wierzchucino is included in a project by the Gmina Krokowa involving work on cycle paths and the construction of a section of the international R-10 cycle route.
