Rzucewo lies on the calm waters of Puck Bay, north of Gdańsk between Reda and Puck. Rzucewo Beach is located on Puck Bay within the Coastal Landscape Park; the local waters are considered shallow.

Coast and Landscape

The shallow waters near Rzucewo are associated with windsurfing and kitesurfing. Kępa Pucka is located in the vicinity of Rzucewo. The area includes forested areas associated with the Coastal Landscape Park, a historic lime-tree avenue leading towards Osłonino, and a walking path along the edge of Kępa Pucka.

Culture and History

The Cultural Park of the Seal Hunters’ Settlement includes an open-air museum with archaeological reconstructions and a permanent archaeological exhibition in a Kashubian cottage. Rzucewo has a Neo-Gothic palace built between 1840 and 1845 to a design by the architect Friedrich August Stüler. Also in the vicinity of Rzucewo is “Rzucewo - Pałac Neogotycki 1840-1845”.

Trails and Nature

The Krawędzią Kępy Puckiej hiking trail runs through Rzucewo. It connects Puck, the Neolithic settlement, Osłonino and the Beka Reserve, then continues towards the forests of Wejherowo.
