Karwia is considered a seaside summer resort with a fishing harbour area on the beach and two summer bathing areas. The wide sandy beach offers gentle access to the water; seasonally supervised bathing areas are also part of the coastal landscape.
Coastal Character
The wide beach is approximately 3 km long and separated from the land by dunes covered with pine forest. The immediate surroundings of Karwia include meadows, forests and the beach; the beach is approximately 300 metres away.
Nature
Karwia is located in the Coastal Landscape Park and near the Bielawa and PrzylÄ…dek Rozewie nature reserves. In the surrounding area, the Bielawa Nature Reserve is considered suitable for walks with a pushchair or for cycling.
Architectural Heritage
Karwia preserves buildings dating from before the Second World War, including structures from the 1890s. They were built in a distinctive regional style and are regarded as historic heritage monuments.

The area surrounding Karwia includes Krokowo - Zamek, Plaża Dębki, Władysławowo plaża, Jastrzębia Góra, as well as Mechowo k/Pucka and the Groty Mechowskie. In the wider regional area lies Rzucewo - Pałac Neogotycki 1840-1845.
