Jurata is located between the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Gdańsk on the Hel Peninsula. The seaside resort combines a Baltic beach with coastal vegetation, pine forest and dunes.

Nature and Activities

Activities in Jurata include walks on the beach, along the pier and on the coastal promenade, a nature trail, cycling on the Hel Peninsula, kitesurfing and windsurfing. Cruises from the port in Jastarnia are also an excursion option for Jurata.

Culture and History

Notable places in Jurata include Kossakówka, the Jurata Monument and the pier. Jurata was established as a seaside resort in 1928 and developed a historical connection with artists, public figures and the Kossak family.
