Malbork is located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship on the Nogat River. The city is 66 km from Gdańsk and 30 km from Elbląg. The same higher-level locality grouping also includes Stare Pole and Ząbrowo.

Culture

Malbork Castle is a Teutonic Order castle from the 13th century and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The castle complex includes a historical and art museum, founded in 1961, which houses more than 40,000 exhibits.

Malbork's other medieval heritage includes St George's Church, a medieval town hall, and remains of the town fortifications from the 14th century.
