History
Licze is home to a manor house dating from 1664, built in the Dutch Neoclassical Baroque style and rebuilt at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It is said to feature an ornately decorated staircase, a checkerboard marble floor, period furniture, a tiled stove, and a piano from that era.
Culture
Together with Sołectwo Licze and the Gminny Ośrodek Kultury i Biblioteka w Kwidzynie, Licze participates in local community cultural programs and took part in corresponding programs with these partners. Licze is also associated with the rural women’s group KGW Licze, known for locally prepared cakes, grilled sausages, hamburgers, and lemonade.
