Borsk is a Kashubian summer resort on Lake Wdzydze. The village is associated with an extensive lake complex and the surrounding forests.

Landscape

In the vicinity of Borsk lies the wzgórze nad Górkami hill. The surrounding area also includes Chełmice and Białe Góry (Góry Kalwaryjskie). Nowe Slone (200 m) is also located nearby.

Activities and routes

Kayaking trips on the Wda can be started in Borsk. The river flows through the Tuchola Forests, Kashubia, and Kociewie.

The green, signposted Dookoła Jezior Wdzydzkich cycling route passes through Borsk as part of a 48.37 km-long route.

A private landing field is now located on the site of a former military airfield. It is used by light aircraft and paragliders.

Culture

Traditional Kashubian buildings have been preserved in Borsk. The village is associated with the beginning of the Wda Canal.

The Willa Jasnochówka in Borsk is associated with the painter Kazimierz Jasnoch, who created works under the pseudonym Pomorski Kaszub.

Borsk offers a wide range of accommodations, with a particular focus on houses and holiday cottages; there is also seasonal food service.
