Werder: Hotels and Accommodations

The Sehlsdorfer Tannen forest is located in the north of the Werder area; the smaller Birkmoor forest is also situated north of Werder. At 85.8 meters above sea level, Sandberg is the municipality’s highest elevation. There are no larger lakes or flowing waters in the municipality.

History and Culture

Werder was first documented on November 11, 1234. Burgwall, Meyenburg Castle, the Groß Raden open-air museum, and the Schwedenschanze are located in the wider surrounding region.

Geographical Location

Werder is a municipality in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. It is administered by the Eldenburg Lübz municipal office, whose seat is in Lübz. Lübz borders Werder directly to the south; Goldberg is located approximately 12 kilometers north of the municipality.
