Trinwillershagen is a municipality in the western part of the Vorpommern-Rügen district and has been part of the Barth administrative district since 2005. The town's more recent agricultural history includes the former LPG “Rotes Banner,” which was founded in 1952 and dissolved in 1991. There are also historical connections to Swedish Pomerania, Prussian Pomerania, and an estate dating from the 18th century.
