Göhren-Lebbin is located in a gently rolling, lake-rich part of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The terrain reaches elevations of up to 90 meters above sea level. The municipality lies on Lake Fleesensee and Lake Kölpinsee; the smaller Lake Poppentin is also located within the municipality.

Nature

Since December 2003, Göhren-Lebbin has held the status of a state-recognized health resort. The Land Fleesensee holiday and recreation area is closely associated with the town, combining nature, a waterscape, sports activities, and holiday infrastructure.

After 1990, the Land Fleesensee holiday and leisure complex developed in Göhren-Lebbin around the local manor house.
