Ritzerow: Hotels and accommodations

A tributary of the Ostpeene, fed by a spring, flows through Ritzerow. The village is located in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

Landscape

History

Historically, Ritzerow was a church village belonging to a royal domain and already had its own parish in 1276. In 1276, Wartislaw IV of Pomerania granted Ritzerow to Ivenack Monastery.

Federal highway 104 runs through the municipality, while federal highway 194 runs west of the municipality. The nearest regional railway station is Reuterstadt Stavenhagen, approximately 8 kilometers from Ritzerow.
