Bredenfelde: Hotels and Accommodation

Bredenfelde is located in the Mecklenburg Lake District, northwest of Neubrandenburg and approximately ten kilometers southeast of Stavenhagen. The Kittendorf Peene, a tributary of the Ostpeene, forms the northern boundary of the village.

History and Transport Routes

Bredenfelde was first documented in 1353. Federal highway B 194 runs west of Bredenfelde. From 1913 to 1945, the village was also the terminus of the Demmin–Stavenhagen–Bredenfelde narrow-gauge railway.

Culture and Regional Destinations

Bredenfelde has a Protestant Lutheran church within the Bredenfelde parish. Nearby are Kittendorf, the village church, Hexenberg, Lustberg, Buchenberg, and Tannenberg. The surrounding area includes Wildberg and Ivenack Wildlife Park; Burg Schlitz is located farther away in the wider region.
