Landscape

South of Voigtsdorf lies the terminal moraine arc of the Brohmer Berge, with elevations of up to 153 meters. It is located within the Brohmer Berge nature reserve. Voigtsdorf is a typical linear roadside village with three settlements located outside the village. The surrounding area also includes the Wittenborn Spring and the Braune-Weiße Spring. Jägerberg and Stritzberg are located nearby.

Geographical Location

Voigtsdorf lies in the east of the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district, in southeastern Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. The village belongs to the Mecklenburg Switzerland and Lake District travel region. From Voigtsdorf, Neubrandenburg is approximately 25 kilometers to the west, while Strasburg (Uckermark) is approximately 10 kilometers to the southeast.

Culture

The Blankenburg ruins are located in the surrounding area of Voigtsdorf. Cölpin village church is also located there. Schloss Bröllin and the church ruins are located in the wider regional area.
