Lehsen’s historic heritage includes a two-storey, nine-bay Neoclassical manor house dating from 1822. Its portico is supported by four Doric columns, and there is a clock in the pediment.

Culture and Landscape

The manor house is associated with an extensive landscaped park. It contains old and rare trees, former estate buildings, ditches, and a pond. Ludolf von Laffert, a farmer and dendrologist, once operated tree nurseries in Lehsen.
