Domsühl: Hotels and accommodations

Domsühl is a municipality in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. Several forested areas characterize the municipality; among them, the Domsühl fir forests form the largest woodland area. The larger flowing waters include the Schlievener Bach and the Raduhner Bach.

Domsühl and its landscape

Domsühl is located on a flat plain without any significant elevations. The highest points reach approximately 78 meters above sea level. Fuchsberg, Hoher Berg, and Zieglerberg are located in the surrounding area.

Location

Domsühl directly borders the town of Parchim. The municipality is located approximately eight kilometers northwest of Parchim and around 13 kilometers southeast of Crivitz.

History and architectural heritage

The municipality district of Severin was first documented in 1264 under the name Ceberin. The municipality is also home to a neo-Gothic brick and fieldstone church dating from 1872.
