Bandenitz is a municipality in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and belongs to the West Mecklenburg travel region. The A24 motorway and the B321 meet at the Hagenow interchange in the municipality. The B321 connects Hagenow and Schwerin, while the A24 runs between Hamburg and Berlin.
History
Bandenitz and Radelübbe are documented in records dating from 1220. The three formerly independent municipalities were merged in 1950.
